Matt Brundage - Caste and Race: A Comparative Study of Inequality in India and the US (Fall 2013)

The GLISP program was an opportunity for me to engage with the New Delhi community in meaningful ways beyond the classroom. Further, my GLISP dealt with caste inequality in India, so learning through interviews and firsthand experiences with caste would have been difficult, if not practically impossible, in Providence. Learning good research methods, organization, and self-motivation in academic work were among the more invaluable lessons I brought back to Brown.
