About Fellowships, Internships and Research experiences
In the fall, Victoria organized a number of "FIReSide Chats" at the BCSC as information sessions about FIRe opportunities. In November, Victoria organized a larger event, "Finding Your Path, Funding Your Passion," bringing together current students, alumni (including former CRC Director Vincent Harisaran '93 MD'07), and graduate students who gave advice about their respective graduate programs, fellowships, and research opportunities.
Throughout both semesters, the FIRe coordinators held weekly advising hours with a CareerLAB peer advisor at the FLi Center, and they wrote posts for the FIRe blog. In the spring, Liliana continued to liaise between offices (FLi Center, CRC, various deans) and completed the inaugural FIRe guide for undocumented & DACA students (see to the right).
