Coordinators:  Sierra Edd ‘18, Nicole Martinez ‘18

Independent Studies Co-Coordinators Nicole & Sierra facilitated information sessions and syllabus writing workshops, met students for appointments about their proposals, served on the College Curriculum Council's IS selection committee, and built community amongst current (G)ISPers through check-in meetings with GISP students and by  organizing the end-of-semester (G)ISP poster presentations.They maintained an online archive of successful proposals for the (G)ISP database.

(G)ISP Co-Coordinator Sierra was featured in the spring edition of the Brown Alumni Magazine. Sierra drafted and participated in a number of (G)ISPs during her time at Brown including, "WOC Artists of America," "Navajo Language," and "Exploring Indigineity Through Creative Writing."
